There are messages that are uplifting, and there are others which in their intentions to help, cause pain, anguish and fear instead... Recently I received a message written about the year 2070, about how life would be like if we didn’t have much water left in the planet. I could appreciate several things: The talent of those who made it, the dedication and also the purpose to create a reaction in the consciousness of those who might receive it. However, I can also see an unnecessary fatalism that only reflects the negative perception of those communicators. Take care of the real treasures that are the water, the trees, etc, OF COURSE! But do so based on the awareness of gratitude, like the miracles of being alive, being able to move, breathe, communicate, love, laugh, and above all, TO CHOOSE! What is the difference that we see between:
A. Prevention against illness - In the first case, I see a fear of becoming the victim of a threat which could be fictitious. It’s almost like, you are programming it to happen.
- In the second case, I see that the focus of attention is on the problem. The message about the year 2070 is full of the first case (“A”). What can really successfully make those realities take place, is precisely our detailed focus on that virtual perception. When you visualize it with a strong negative emotion it will make you accept that inevitably you have to go in that direction… and you would arrive! If what we really teach our new generations is that we appreciate each gift from Nature with gratitude, as small as it might be, and just because it is wonderful to enjoy it, we will make those little minds (as well as our own), accept at last that what we truly have is the NOW. And, that to live that reality thoroughly, without fears or prejudices, with respect for individuality and the freedom of each and every creature, is the only way to fulfil our mission to be joyful. The true reality is the perception that we might have of the external world in our minds. Hence, the “reality” is so different to each person. We can change that perception and as a result, we think that the whole world changed… The Planet Earth obeys the same universal law of balance. Mankind can be irresponsible and unconscious of its individual actions, but Nature will perform some action that will seek equilibrium in the opposite extreme. Therefore, natural disasters can happen to be a “blessing” over time, in the eyes of those who can see beyond the attachments to the past. From the ashes of destruction by fire, more advanced cities or monuments or mansions, will emerge. After a catastrophic flood in one part of the world, a new mountain will arise in another place. The engineers can only show their creativity before the challenge of a necessity. Death breeds life! We musicians, above other artists, have the opportunity to be instruments if upliftment. Our songs echo in the subconscious minds of our listeners, starting in our own minds. Music goes with us wherever we go, whether because we sing, we hear music in our minds or we listen to it through the technology that we take everywhere. In our desire to be original, we defy the norm, daring to mock the traditional harmony and sounds. This is OK and it expands our creative vision. However, by wanting to impose our song in a “minor-diminished-chord” (and maybe with an instrument out of tune…), we will only program our listeners to be in that mood. Perhaps we could become original again, if we succumb to the seduction of the magnetic “major chord” –for a change…!
