How to Post PDF Print E-mail
This article is an instructional discussing the process by which you can post an article for publication.

There are several steps for you to post articles or content to this site. Here is a brief overview:

First, as a registered member, please request an upgrade to "author" status by emailing me via the "Contact Us" menu item on the main menu.

Once upgraded, you will be able to use the "Submit Article" menu item on the registered user menu (which you see, once you have logged on).

Having clicked that link, you will see a form for inputting your text information. I recommend that you do your actual writing in a simple text editor and then paste that information into the appropriate fields. This avoids having your account "sign out" while you're writing - which would drive anyone nuts...

On the article submission form, please select the category of your article, and then copy your text for the following text fields:

 1. Title Field - keep the name of your article fairly short so it fits on menus, etc.
 2. Intro Text Field - This is for blog style access by users. It is actually the first paragraph for your article, so make sure it acts well for both a quick introduction and a first paragraph.

 3. Main Body Text Field - this is the rest of the article that is presented when the user clicks the "Read More" link.

The way that the current system works requires that you input html tags for things like paragraph breaks "< p >" (no spaces), " and other simple formatting touches.

Here are some simple formatting tags you can introduce to the text of your article. All of the following list should use the "<" and ">" open and close tags - instead of the "[" and "]" So the real tag would be: < tag > but without the spaces between the open tag: "<" and the end tag: ">"

 •
Your Title Here
about the largest you want to go on these pages.

 • [p]Paragraph[/p] will produce a line break with a new paragraph space

 • [br]Line Break[/br] will produce a line break without a new paragraph space

 • Bold will produce Bold text

 • Italic will produce Italic text

Just to clarify, the bold tags would look like this (but without the spaces in the tag's start and end tags):

< B >Bold Text Here< / B >

Once submitted, a human will review your article and publish it for all to share.

I hope this article has been useful to you.
