There are few, if any, musicians in New Thought who have contributed to the musical life of the movement as profoundly as Rickie Byars-Beckwith.

Rickie's association with Rev. Dr. Michael Beckwith - in both creative and life partnership - has had a profound influence on the way that music is integrated with message in the New Thought / Ancient Wisdom teaching.

For over 15 years, Rickie has written and performed songs that have been embraced throughout the New Thought movement. The Rickie and Michael Beckwith songs, "Use Me" and "I Release" have become standards in churches from the Religious Science community to Unity and Bahai Faith centers.

As the musical and choir director of the Agape Spiritual Center in Culver City, CA, Dr. Rickie has been instrumental in establishing a powerful model of music ministry, demonstrating music as a "co-equal branch" in presenting universal spiritual ideas.

In addition, as the prime mover in the Agape Center's Symposium events, she has contributed profoundly in generously sharing her knowledge and experience in the design and management of successful music ministry.
