The Science of Mind Magazine has celebrated three important movers and shakers in the New Though Music community on a front page featured article in the July '06 edition.
Bird York, Agape music ministry member, has been nominated for an Academy Award for her song, "In the Deep" featured in the also-nominated film "Crash."
Agape members, Brenda Russell and Stephen Bray have teamed up with songwriter, Allee Willis composing the music for the new, hit Broadway musical "The Color Purple."

Just wanted to update you on the musical soupcon that appeared at the AGNT conference this year.
As musical director, I had several challenges. This has been my first experience with musical direction for such a conference, so many ideas were put forth - some working and some not. Big surprise.
